  Mount Usher Gardens welcomes over 300 visitors from leading magazine, BBC’s Gardeners’ World On 12th August we had the pleasure of welcoming over 300 visitors from leading magazine, BBC’s Gardeners’ World to the gardens. The group were celebrating the 20th Anniversary issue of The BBC Gardener’s World Magazine with a visit to a series of top gardens in the UK and Ireland. Mount Usher was the only Irish garden visited by this prestigious group which included Alan Pasco, editor of the Magazine and he selected to visit us as their readers had voted Mount Usher Gardens as the Most Romantic Garden and the Best Garden to visit in the Republic of Ireland in both 2009 & 2010. As well as Alan, the visiting group included a number of prominent gardening writers and broadcasters, such as Pippa Greenwood, Tim Sandall and Mathew Biggs.
