Autumn
Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, Mount Usher is bursting with colour in the autumn. The Maple Walk (pictured left) is a perfect example of this as the Japanese Maples and the Golden Larch are ablaze with colour.
 
Toad Stool Liquidambar

At ground level as well, various mushrooms start making their
appearance, the Toad Stool being one of the most attractive.
(bottom right)

Popularly known as 'Sweet Gum', Liquidambar styraciflua, shows
a gaunt of colours in the year. The dark green leaves erupt into
oranges, reds and purples with the onset of autumn. (top right)
